New Term Prayer Points

Pray for teachers and school staff as they begin the new academic year — for energy, patience, wisdom and for Christians, a fresh understanding of God's purpose for them in Education
Pray for pupils, especially those who are anxious about returning, starting a new school or facing difficulties at home or with friendships.
Pray for school communities to be places of peace, kindness, truth and learning, where every child is treated with dignity and care.
Pray for Christian teachers to be faithful witnesses for Christ in their everyday work, through their words, relationships and care for pupils.
Pray for wisdom for education leaders and policymakers as they respond to today’s PISA results and consider the future of education. England continues to perform strongly, with its significantly different curriculum helping it consistently pull ahead of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Pray that policymakers would look beyond the statistics to the deeper needs of children and young people, while also making the necessary improvements to ensure educational flourishing across every part of the UK.
Pray for a renewed love of learning and for teachers to have the resources and support they need to help pupils flourish.
Pray that Christian teachers would begin the term confident in God, knowing that their work matters and that they are serving Him in their schools.
